Christmas at Schnepf Farms

Happy Holidays Slumber Buddies! The Teepee family has been getting in the Holiday spirit early and often this year. The Teepee Lady is head over heels for all things Christmas and that means the rest of the family better be too. We are always on the lookout for new things to experience together this time of year. This year we decided to check out Christmas at Schnepf Farms.

Since the majority of our weekends are spent providing awesome parties to you all, we decided to check the Farm out on a weekday. This turned out to be a great idea, as we had the place mostly to ourselves!!!

For us, the downside to visiting Christmas at Schnepf Farms was the rush hour traffic on our way out to Queen Creek. We are located in North Phoenix/Scottsdale, so it was an hour and then some by the time we got to the Farm. Tickets were reasonably priced at $17 dollars a piece (now down to $15) plus an additional $7 per for the Illumination train ride. The price of admission included so many activities for the kids and was well worth the dough – literally, cookie decorating was included.

The Illumination train is the first thing we did when we got there. The ride was fun and lasted about 10 minutes. Full of music and lights it made all three kids smile! From there we hit up a merry -go-round and sipped some hot chocolate. We decorated pine cones, cruised through Santa’s workshop taking a picture on his sleigh and got our Santa pics covered!. Again, being a weeknight, we didn’t have to wait for anything.

We next hopped on the hayride and got to feed the (rain)deer – literally, it was drizzling that night! The kids loved that one. After the hayride we hoped on a train and got lucky enough to sit next to the big guy. The train dropped us off at the cookie decorating area where all three kids used as much frosting as possible so they could eat a yummy cookie! We spent the rest of the night on the various bouncy houses and racing each other on the humongous bouncy house obstacle course, which we highly recommend! But beware – its a major workout! After the bouncy houses we called it a night because the kiddos had school the next day. We will be headed out there again next year to try out the ice skating rink and mini golf, since we ran out of time. We highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun way to see lights and get in the Christmas Spirit!
